Lucy Minshull

Workforce Project Manager

Lucy Minshull is an experienced NHS manager with over 25 years’ experience. She has acquired a vast amount of experience working across both primary and secondary care, General Practice, Primary Care Trusts and CCGs. She has been involved in Practice based Commissioning; Service Redesign Commissioning and Medical Revalidation with a particular interest in primary care development. Lucy is very committed, structured and operationally drive with a task and finish approach.  Lucy strives on strong and credible working relationships formed over her many years within the NHS which she continues to build upon.

Lucy provides sessional project management support to the North Staffordshire GP Federation predominantly on workforce recruitment and retention to support sustaining general practice.  Lucy has been instrumental in a number of key developments:

  • Staffordshire Physician Associate Internship Programme which is now referred to as a national pilot and has been rolled out in Shropshire & Telford and Birmingham and Solihull;  has received RCGP endorsement and was shortlisted for a 2019 HSJ Award
  • NHSE Clinical Pharmacists in General Practice Programmes
  • Findmealocum – GP locum bank and mobile app for local GPs to support locum sessions in GP practices
  • GP Fellowships – Supported over 20 newly qualified GPs with portfolio careers in local GP practices
