Dr Tufail’s initial training was in Emergency Medicine, before moving to Stoke on Trent in 2010 to undertake GP training. He is a GP partner at Orchard Surgery in Norton, Associate Medical Director for Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust, Clinical Director for Whitfield PCN, A GP Trainer and a GP Appraiser; he is also a North Staffs LMC Committee Member and Board Member for RCGP West Midlands Faculty Board.
Dr Tufail has a passion for General Practice and enjoys his leadership and training roles. Dr Tufail is keen to help and support General Practice during upcoming transformations within the NHS both locally and nationally. His inspiration is for practices to work collaboratively which enables Practices to be more resilient and helps to provide better patient care.
Dr Tufail is a keen cricketer and plays for a local club in Stoke, he is a huge football fan and enjoys a trip or two to Old Trafford. If he does get any free time he enjoys spending it with his two beautiful daughters for a trip to the park.
