Dr Veerappan did his GP training in Scotland and moved to stoke in 2007. Currently he is a GP principal at Tunstall Primary Care. He has special interest in Diabetes and Endocrinology. He is a GP trainer, and an Appraiser. He works in CQC as a Specialist adviser. His role as a chair is to steer and lead the board in right direction to make any decisions. His aim is to make the federation strong and sustainable, so that it’s well placed to help the membership practices which serve the community. General Practice is the backbone of our NHS and a strong federation is needed to make the general practice sustainable even at challenging situations. His role as a Joint clinical director is to give clinical leadership for all federation run clinical services. Outside Medicine, he enjoys playing cricket and actively plays Sunday league matches.
