Hanley Walk in Centre closed on Friday 24th June 2022, a decision taken by the Clinical Commissioning Group.  If you would normally access this service and think yourself or your child need to be seen today, then you have four options.  You can either attend the Haywood Hospital Walk in Centre, ring the 111 service or attend A&E at the Royal Stoke Hospital.  If it is in usual GP Practice opening hours, you could also ring your GP Practice.  If this is a life threatening emergency then we would always advise you to ring 999.

We currently operate a Primary Care Walk in Service from our premises in Stafford Street, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.   This service allows patients to ‘walk in’ at their own convenience to see a GP or Advanced Nurse Practitioner.

This service is open 8am to 8pm daily, 365 days per year.  We see on average 90 patients per day, which is a staggering 3,000 patients per month or 33,000 per year!

To access this service visit us at:  69-71 Stafford Street, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, ST1 1LW (opposite TK Maxx), or call  01782 987585 for more information.

Please note that as this is a walk in service, we do not operate appointments and waiting times can sometimes be quite long.   Unless there is an emergency where life is in danger, patients are seen in the order that they arrive.
